Biography

Born in Tokyo. Studies at the Senzoku Gakuen Music Academy, Japan, and the Hochschule fuer Musik in Vienna with J. Dichler. First prize winner in various competitions (Japan International Music Competition, 1963, Rombro-Stepanow Competition in Vienna, 1970, and the International Chamber Music Competition in Colmar, France, 1974). Frequent concert activities in Europe and Japan. During the International Summer Festival in Sion, Switzerland, she made the first performance of the piano-concerto by W. von Siebentahl, conducted by Tibor Varga.
